Frontier Energy, in partnership with CenterPoint Energy and Xcel Energy, is implementing the Multi-Family Building Efficiency Program. The program will provide a no-cost energy assessment that provides detailed information about energy efficiency opportunities for apartment buildings, including resident units and common living areas.

The program offers rebates and bonus incentives to make qualified improvements through CenterPoint Energy or Xcel Energy. Energy upgrades could receive 30% bonuses to rebates earned and up to 200% for income-qualified buildings (up to the equipment cost).

The energy assessment will provide:

  • A complete report and guidance on findings and recommendations.
  • Direct installation of energy-saving products, such as LEDs, showerheads, thermostats, and more throughout common areas and resident units.
  • Brochures for residents that contain energy saving tips.
  • Rebates and bonus incentives for making energy efficiency upgrades.
  • Reduction of energy usage leading to long-term savings and improved comfort for residents.

Frontier Energy and partners are ready to help multi-family buildings renters and property owners to save energy and money.
